About Us
The Green Clinic is based in Edgware, and was established by Chartered Physiotherapist Stephen Parkus in 2008. All our Physiotherapists are Chartered, and registered with the Health Professions Council.
Mr Stephen Parkus
Stephen gained a diploma in Therapeutic Massage, and then qualified with Honours from the University of Hertfordshire as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2001.
He has worked in a number of NHS hospitals, most recently completing 4 years at Watford General Hospital as a Senior Outpatient Physiotherapist. Stephen also worked as a Senior Outpatient Physiotherapist part-time at BUPA Hospital Bushey for 3 years, leaving to develop his private practice. Stephen also works part-time at Chai Cancer Care in Hendon.
In 2006, Stephen completed his training in Medical Acupuncture and is a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society. Stephen has a particular interest in the treatment of low back and neck pain with postural re-training and core stability exercises such as Pilates, and in stability re-training of the knee, ankle and shoulder.
Ms Dee Owens
Dee, our other Senior Physiotherapist, joined The Green Clinic in 2010.
Dee graduated with Honours from the University of Liverpool in 2002. Since then she has gained experience working in the Public sector in Ireland and the UK, and also in the Private Sector.
Dee currently also works as a Senior Physiotherapist in the NHS at Ealing Hospital.
She has completed various Post-Graduate courses including a Masters level course in Orthopaedic Medicine. She is due to commence a Clinical Pilates Course this year.
